Bio

Cassidy Claire is a pianist, singer-songwriter, and worship leader born and raised in Southwest Florida. Music has been an integral part of her life since she began playing piano by ear at age three.

Cassidy began leading worship as part of a small children’s ministry band at her church at age thirteen. As she grew and gained experience, Cassidy’s responsibilities expanded to include a position as head of the church’s youth worship ministry, as well as a position as a multi-campus worship leader.

In May 2014, Cassidy won a tri-state vocal competition held by The JOY FM. The competition, Cell Phone Superstar, included thousands of entries from Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. This honor has allowed Cassidy several exciting opportunities, including headlining a worship event on Siesta Key, and having her first single, Give Me Rest, professionally produced, mixed, and mastered by Conrad Johnson of the Christian band Chris and Conrad at Inertia Sound Studio in Lakeland, FL.

Cassidy has been attending Liberty University since fall 2014, where she is studying songwriting and leading worship as part of “Exodus,” one of Liberty’s music ministry teams.

“Worship brings healing. There is so much brokenness in our world that can be restored when we open our hands and surrender ourselves wholly to God’s love and mercy. There are countless ways to worship, but music is such a powerful medium that it seems to speak into our souls on a deeper level than words alone. That’s why music never ceases to captivate me, and it’s why I choose to worship through music. There’s so much to be offered to my Savior that words alone could never express.” — Cassidy Claire
